Chennai Flavors brings the authentic taste of South India to the streets of Jersey City. Born from a love of traditional Tamil cooking and a dream of sharing it with the diverse communities of Downtown JC, our food truck has become a lunchtime staple near Exchange Place.
Every morning, we prepare fresh batter for our dosas, grind our own chutneys, and cook our biryanis with the same recipes that have been passed down through generations in Chennai. No shortcuts. No compromises. Just honest, homestyle South Indian food.
We’re proud to serve the office workers, students, and families of Jersey City — and to introduce the incredible flavors of Tamil Nadu to anyone willing to try something new.
